Theme Tours

Theme tours let students explore art, fashion, black history, theater, and more with a focused itinerary featuring attractions in a given city that celebrate a specific theme. Theme tours are the perfect complement to classroom curriculum, extracurricular clubs, youth groups, performance teams, and graduates researching careers. Imagine the possibilities when you design an itinerary around a group’s greatest interest.

Black History

Undoubtedly the most popular of the theme tours we build, black history tours feature historical homes, churches, and libraries built by free black Americans. They follow in the footsteps of the country’s most influential civil rights activists, from the homes of their birth to the stages for their most memorable efforts. Attractions include the black heritage trail in Boston, the Martin Luther King memorial site in Atlanta, and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, where he gave his famous speech, I have a dream. Many exciting destinations offer amazing choices for black history tours.

Fashion

This is a fun choice for any group interested in the wider world or pop culture as it introduces students to a far-reaching industry, which also makes it the perfect exploration of a valid career choice. The fashion theme takes your group to New York City, Los Angeles, or Paris. You’ll go behind-the-scenes, touring the offices of world-famous brands (e.g., Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger), visiting fashion institutes and browsing the fashion district wherever you are. This tour also includes world-class shopping.

Broadway

Most groups want to include a Broadway performance in their New York City tour, but how about four or five? What if you centered your entire itinerary around the theater? With a show every night, you can experience all Broadway has to offer – the comedy, drama, musical masterpieces, choreography, innovation, and star power. Watch a different performance every night of your tour, then participate in the Broadway Classroom or Broadway Workshop and learn choreography, acting technique, or the technology of production. The workshops are even show-specific to correlate with that night’s performance.

Faith

If you’re traveling with a home-school group or faith-based school, this might naturally be the theme for you. Perhaps you want to volunteer somewhere together for several days to a week. Maybe you want to visit a church or temple, the Precious Moments Chapel in Missouri, or the cathedrals of France. Whatever your intent, we can remove the difficulty of planning.

There are so many themes to consider, and we can customize a tour around any of them to any destination. Use our Request Form to ask about a theme of your choice.
